I came to Paradise Isle to forget a cheating ex and burn through my non-refundable honeymoon package at The Seacoast Majestic Resort. Plan A was bottomless margaritas and maybe a poolside fling or two. Plan B? Well, that kicked in when the resort staff found my airplane seatmate—an overly chatty Aussie named Jimmy—dead on the floor of my luxury suite. Face-down. Not breathing. Very much not my problem… except now it is.

 

Next thing I know, I’m the main suspect in a murder cooked up by island cops who couldn’t solve a crossword with the answers filled in. My only way out? Solve it myself—while dodging a killer, catching haymakers from a femme fatale who hits like Mike Tyson, and trying to keep it in my pants around a local lady cop who’s hotter than beachfront asphalt at high noon.

 

Luckily, I’ve got backup: a motley crew of retired island misfits who still remember how to raise hell. Don’t let the orthopedic shoes fool you—these old-timers can run a con, rig a trap, and disappear a body like it’s 1963 Havana.

 

Drunk on a Plane is a sun-soaked cocktail of murder, mayhem, and margaritas. Fast-paced, foul-mouthed, and fun as hell, this is the only mystery series where the hero might save the day—or accidentally light himself on fire.
